How does the $5 referral credit work?

Every member gets a personal referral code and link. When a friend subscribes using it, they start on a 14-day free trial and you earn $5 in account credit. The credit is applied automatically as a discount the next time your membership starts or renews — there is nothing to redeem.

When exactly do I get the $5?

Your credit is confirmed after your friend's first real payment clears at the end of their free trial. That protects the offer from abuse and means the credit you see is credit you keep.

Is there a limit on how many friends I can refer?

No. Refer three friends and your next monthly renewal is effectively free. Credit keeps stacking on your account and rolls over if it exceeds one renewal.

Does my friend have to pay anything up front?

They enter payment details to start, but they are not charged during the 14-day trial and can cancel any time before it ends at no cost.

Can I use my own code, or two codes at once?

No. A code cannot be used on the account that owns it, and only one referral code can be applied per account, at the time you start your first membership.

What if my friend cancels during the trial?

No payment means no credit for that referral. Nothing is clawed back from credit you have already earned on other referrals.

Does the credit expire?

Credit stays on your account for as long as your account is open, and is used automatically at your next billing date.

Can I get cash instead of credit?

The reward is account credit against your Pantry Forge membership, not a cash payout. Billing and refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
