Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 11 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Pantry Forge, a meal-creation service that turns photos of your ingredients into step-by-step recipes with tailored cooking hints. The service is provided by Pantry Forge ("Pantry Forge", "we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using Pantry Forge.
1. Who may use Pantry Forge
You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your country. If you accept these terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping it up to date, keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account.
2. What we provide
Pantry Forge analyses photographs of ingredients you upload and generates recipe suggestions, step-by-step instructions, and "Healthy Hints" based on the health conditions and allergy notes you choose to record. A membership includes unlimited ingredient scans, recipe generation, and a saved recipe book, as described on our pricing page.
3. Recipes and Healthy Hints are not medical advice
Pantry Forge uses automated systems, including AI models, to identify ingredients and produce recipes and hints. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Ingredient detection can misidentify items, and generated content may miss allergens or dietary conflicts.
Healthy Hints are general cooking guidance only. They are not medical, nutritional, dietary, or professional advice and are not a diagnosis, treatment, or recommendation. Always verify ingredients, labels, and allergens yourself, and consult a qualified healthcare professional about your diet, allergies, or any health condition. You are solely responsible for what you cook and eat, and for food safety and hygiene in your kitchen.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service unlawfully or for any fraudulent, deceptive, or spam purpose;
- upload photographs or content you do not have the rights to use, or that infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- upload unlawful, abusive, hateful, or harmful content, or attempt to generate content that promotes self-harm, illegal activity, or unsafe consumption;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service — including malware, probing, scanning, scraping, bypassing rate limits, or attempting to jailbreak or manipulate our AI systems;
- reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the service;
- share your account or membership with others.
You are responsible for the photographs, notes, and prompts you submit, for how you use the outputs, and for verifying their accuracy before relying on them.
5. Your content and our content
You keep ownership of the photographs and notes you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the service for you. We may remove, restrict, or refuse to generate content that breaches these terms.
Pantry Forge retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including our software, design, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Pantry Forge within your selected plan. If you believe content on Pantry Forge infringes your rights, contact us and we will investigate and, where appropriate, remove it; repeat infringement may result in account termination.
6. Membership, payment, and cancellation
Memberships are sold as recurring subscriptions at the prices shown on our pricing page, billed monthly or yearly until cancelled. Where a free trial or referral credit applies, we disclose it before you complete checkout; unless stated otherwise, the subscription renews automatically at the standard price when the trial or credit ends.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, taxes, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Refunds are also covered by our Refund Policy. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep access until then.
7. Availability
We work to keep Pantry Forge available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and maintenance, third-party outages, or AI provider limits may temporarily affect the service.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. When access ends you may export your saved recipes for a reasonable period, after which your content may be deleted.
9. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not permit exclusion.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pantry Forge is established, and disputes will be heard by the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
12. Contact
